Humanitarian Programmes

Zimbabwe Global Charity Trust helps people when they are befallen by a disaster, be it natural or any other form irregardless of religion. Calamities may include (but not limited to) floods, drought, famine victims and refugees.

Providing Water

Since it’s inception, the organisation have provided water to several dry areas and areas where people are generally in need of the most precious liquid. Our boreholes are meant to solve long term water need in the country.

Building Mosques

The Zimbabwe Global Charity Trust has since embarked into building of Mosques. This service is directed to the Muslim communities that are found in dire need for places of worship.

Qurbaan Programmes

We slaughter Qurbaan animals as well as distribute the meat to the needy from among the Muslim communities in the country. We have so far slaughtered thousands of livestock since our founding.

GIVING scholarships

Whenever we get an opportunities, we help students from poor background acquire scholarships from abroad.  A huge number of students, mainly Muslims have been assisted this way over the past years.

general Da'wah serminars

The Organisation also strives to share knowledge about Islam with the rest of everyone in its purity. These da’wah programmes would range from a day to even several weeks of intensive education.

Iftar Programmes

During the Holy month of Ramadhan, The Zimbabwe Global Charity Trust offer food hampers to the fasting people as well as feeding them everyday when breaking the fasts.

hospital bills for the needy

After ascertaining the neediness of a family or individual, we give assistance with payment of Medical bills to those who would be in unfortunate condition of illness. A large number have been assisted in this scheme.

girl child seminars

The organisation also caters for education and training of the often marginalized gender (ie the female fork). These seminars are mainly for teaching basics of the religion as well as other important life skills.

Islamic propagation

We carry out outreach Da’wah programmes, street da’wah, publications and sharing of literature and any other form of Da’wah using both traditional and modern mean. This is one of our main objectives.

Hospital visits

We don’t concentrate our Da’wah on the healthy only. Instead, we do hospital visits, bringing food hampers to the sick and also sharing literature with with them as well as giving them hope.

sponsoring the needy

We sponsor welfare of the approved needy families and individuals from among our communities. They include widows and orphans. Assistance ranges from education support to food, shelter and clothing.

oRPHANS

Orphans are a responsibility

As a poor nation, Zimbabwe is country which sees prevalence of different chronic diseases such as HIV/AIDS, cancer and High Blood Pressure. It is one of the Trust to look at the welfare of orphans left by their parents. Our responsibilities range from provision of basic necessities of life such as food and shelter as well as paying tuition fees for their education.

"Goodness does not consist in turning your face towards East or West. The truly good are those who believe in God and the Last Day, in the angels, the Scripture, and the prophets; who give away some of their wealth, however much they cherish it, to their relatives, to orphans, the needy, travelers and beggars and to liberate those in debt and bondage; those who keep up the prayers and pay the prescribed alms; who keep pledges whenever they make them; who are steadfast in misfortune, adversity and times of danger. These are the ones who are true, and it is they who are aware of God".
